- marlowe’s song, "Enough to Live" won 6th place in the Mix 99.9 Songwriting Competition out of over 1000 entries and is being considered for regular rotation on the station – February, 2001

- Canadian Music Week chose marlowe from thousands of hopefuls across Canada to perform in a showcase at this year’s high-profile festival – February, 2001

- Life Network’s national program, Canadian Living Television, featured marlowe as "One to Watch" just after the launch of her debut CD – September, 2000

- Air Canada selected marlowe’s first single, "Losing You", to spotlight on their in-flight radio station - Fall 2000

- Canada’s premiere entertainment magazine program, eNow on CTV, profiled marlowe and her rising success – June, 2000

- "Taxi Ride", one of the most swinging tracks off of marlowe’s debut album, was selected from hundreds of entries for the Official North by Northeast 2000 indie CD compilation, Indiebuzz - June, 2000

- Southern Ontario’s Brock Press newspaper, interviewed marlowe as Canada’s latest patriotic singer/songwriter, with the headline reading "My Name is Marlowe and I am Canadian" - June, 2000
